CONSERVATION SEMI DETACHED
This early late 1800's / early 1900's Semi detached house is located within a conservation area. The existing house has many period features both inside and outside from ornate cornicing internally to well crafted exposed timber eaves and details externally.
A UPVC extension has been added to this property in the past 20 years and this is to be removed along with a section of external wall to rear to allow for the new single storey extension and first floor rear dormer.
Exposed timber eaves and timber details will be used to ensure that the proposal compliments the existing building and will be sensitive to the surrounding Conservation area.
The extension will open up the rear existing lounge and kitchen area with an additional open plan dining and living area filled with natural light due to the large windows and roof lights. The external kitchen walls are to be removed to allow the kitchen to be part of the open plan feel.
